Do NOT self-deploy in anticipation of animal needs in the aftermath of a storm. This actually creates more problems than it fixes so please don’t do it. Only respond if you have received a formal mission assignment from NC SART or State Emergency Management. Also keep in mind that behind Gustav there is another TS named Hanna that looks like it may affect the east coast, potentially even NC, and then behind Hannah there is an unnamed system that could go anywhere! NC SART is monitoring states and organizations needs, and will post mission needs as we get formal request through formal mission channels.
