The North Carolina State Animal Response Team (SART) has released its 2004 Annual Report. The report summarizes program and financial achievements this past year, and recognizes donors who helped support SART. ?We are very proud of our accomplishments in 2004, and want to thank the many individuals and organizations that supported our work,? said Larry Trachtman, SART Executive Director. SART was founded in 2001 in the aftermath of Hurricane Floyd. Today, SART is a public-private partnership that coordinates the efforts of government agencies, veterinary organizations, animal industry and humane groups to provide prevention, response, and recovery for animal emergencies. SART is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Raleigh, NC.
