Attention CARTs!
NCSART is offering Animal Disaster Sheltering Meetings/ Trainings in three eastern North Carolina counties in September. Attendees/ volunteers are welcome to attend from the "host" county and their surrounding counties.
The counties, dates, times, and locations are listed below:
Halifax County: Monday, September 11th from 10 am -12 pm at the Halifax County Cooperative Extension Services Building (
359 Ferrell Ln., Halifax, NC 27839)
Cumberland County: Thursday, September 14th from 10 am-12 pm at the National Guard Armory Classroom (
345 E. Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28306. This is near the Crown Coliseum and the county Cooperative Extension Services building, located at 301 E. Mountain Dr.)
Robeson County: Wednesday, September 20 from 10 am - 12pm at the Robeson County Cooperative Extension Services Building (O.P. Owens Agriculture Center,
455 Caton Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360; From I-95 take exit 17. Cross Lumber River Bridge, turn right at light onto Highway 72, which is Caton Road. Turn into the third entrance on the left into parking lot, just past black and white lighted North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service sign. Offices are in the O. P. Owens Agriculture Center.)
